Aerius syrup provides rapid 24 hr relief of hayfever (seasonal allergic rhinitis) and hives.

Aerius syrup is also indicated for the releif of symptoms associated with year-round allergies (perennial allergic rhinitis)

Dosage for allergic rhinitis: 1 to 5 years = 2.5ml 6 to 11 years = 5ml 12.years and over = 10ml Do not give to children under 12 months of age for allergic rhinitis. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice Dosage for hives: 6 to 11 months = 2.0ml 1 to 5 years = 2.5ml 6 to 11 years = 5ml 12 years and over = 10ml Not to be used in children under 6 months of age

	HAYFEVER
	Hay fever, the common name for allergic rhinitis, is an allergic reaction in the nose, throat and eyes. It commonly occurs in spring and summer, when it is caused by airborne pollens from trees, plants and grasses. Medicines can relieve symptoms of hay fever and help prevent them recurring. Hay fever, or allergic rhinitis, is usually caused by inhaling pollens that are present in the air during certain times of the year. However, some people have symptoms of allergic rhinitis all year round, caused by inhaling allergens such as animal dander, mould spores and house dust mites. A doctor can arrange ‘allergy skin tests’ to help find the cause of allergic rhinitis.
